Sometimes it all starts with a quiet idea. That’s how it was for me too.
In 2012, it all stemmed from a desire to welcome travellers and offer them more than just a place to stay – namely, a real home away from home. What began as a side venture became my main occupation just two years later.
A dear friend – known from the Swiss TV programme ‘Auf und davon’ – encouraged me to take the plunge and put the idea into practice.
In those early days, I was supported by my then partner Marléne. For eight years, she backed me with great dedication and passion as we built up our BnB – a time for which I remain very grateful to this day.
Our first guest came from Mauritius. We were overjoyed, but just as nervous. Yet it was precisely that moment that showed me just how special hospitality is.
We have been firmly rooted in this wonderful place since 2016. What drives us are the encounters. When guests return, it feels like a reunion.
